TRANSMUTATION, 2022
This painting displays the conversation between the subconscious mind (at the top in black) and the self (at the bottom in color). The silver leaf rays depict the transmuted energy emitting from the self. Transmutation is the action of changing or the state of being changed into another form. I find it incredible how our subconscious mind which holds our fears, beliefs, desires, and memories that we may not be aware of can greatly effect the way in which we can shift our thoughts and actions. I focus on being mindful of these conversations with my subconscious since the quality of our thoughts determine the quality of our lives. I invite you to also be in observation mode to witness these transmutations.

Before pouring the paint on this canvas, I covered it with adjectives that describes the subject so their vibration would be embedded in the painting. These adjectives were... loving, generous, sensitive, big hearted, hilarious, abundant, kind, beautiful, successful and sexy. This painting was my first of this large size and I was nervous to mess it up. I had to practice letting go and trust in the process. YOUR TRUTH, 2020
I have always been an emotional being (one hundred percent empathic) and was constantly being told to stop crying, that I was too emotional or that I was being too loud. I have been working on opening my throat chakra, which represents the ability to speak and communicate clearly and effectively, so I can fully express myself. The day before pouring the paint for this painting, I had a very powerful vocal activation coaching session. When the paint was dry and the subject was ready to be revealed, I noticed that bright electric green bolt of paint created an activation of the throat chakra that traveled back to the cerebellum of the brain, which helps the body maintain equilibrium and balance. You will also notice at the very top of the head that the crown chakra, which represents states of higher consciousness and divine connection, is wide open. I was mesmerized and pleasantly surprised at these observations. Your Truth seemed the only appropriate title for this painting.
After showing my best friend the piece and telling her the title, she immediately shared with me what she saw and how it made her feel. I knew it had to be hers. I am so proud to have Your Truth hanging in her home in Alaska.

An alchemist is a person who transforms or creates something through a seemingly magical process. Instead of painting the energy field within the subject, I decided to focus on his outer aura. I can see the magical conversion of the bright blues, reds and magenta colors into the alchemy of ribbons of metallic gold paint swirling between them. This spirited subject shows signs of a master manifester. The Young Alchemist resides in Louisville, KY.
