ABSTRACTS

When I paint I am constantly been pushed against my edges.  My process tests my desire to always be in control.  I enjoy the power I have in creating my color palette and how I choose to layer the paint.  However, once I start to pour the paint onto the canvas, surrender is the only way to let the magic happen.  It is a mystery every time how the colors are going to pull and push against each other.  I can used the same colors, layered in the same order, in one hundred paintings and each one would be unique to itself.
