​The element of surprise is my favorite part of my process which simultaneously rocks my “control freak” nerves.  The acrylic pour technique is a constant lesson in trust and letting go.   My OCD tendencies enjoy that I have control over the color palette and how I layer the paint.  However, every time I pour paint, it takes on a life of its own where the energetic essence of the subjects are revealed and a conversation begins.  I complete the paintings with a coat of resin that intensifies the colors and creates a depth that allows the viewer to fall into the paint.
